The reason that I have chosen this subject for your Unit 3 project is because of the broad and exciting scope that it throws up. Passions and Obsessions was an exam question in 2010 and you will all be given access to a copy of the paper on the student shared drive. This is just a starting point for you, you have the freedom to take this project wherever you feel. No one should feel stifled by the title, don't feel that you have to settle on an idea now this minute (unless you are reading this in January 2012...then we may have a problem....).
Think big for this project, remember, you have to be PASSIONATE and OBSESSIVE about your work, so if you feel a bit wishy washy about what you have chosen, then choose something else instead! I can't stress the importance of this enough, if you don't know anything about your subject then it will show in your work, so even if you don't know about it now, then you certainly should do in a few months time.
